Zombie Chick: Minion of Giygas

The 'Zombie Chick' from Threed.

For an experimental effect, I added a glossy layer to the sunglasses such that when the painting is hanging on the wall of my apartment, and you're looking at it from a few feet away or more, my livingroom's light is reflecting off the glasses, obscuring the Giygas pattern. When you get closer to it though, your shadow casts onto the painting, canceling the reflection and revealing the Giygas images on the lenses. Each of the lenses is about the size of a quarter. A (bad) picture of the lenses reflecting can be seen here: http://starmen.net/forum/?t=getfile&id=36511&private=0

ozwalled Cerebrum
The Cerebrum enemy from Mother 1. Another one of my favorite pieces, mostly because it's so close to what was in my mind before my digital pen touched my Wacom tablet.
Maybe it's just my neuropsychology background at work, but I thought that the Cerebrum to be one of the cooler, more fitting of the "campy" enemy ideas in EB0. I mean, he's a brain, on a glass-domed platter with legs sticking out the bottom! How awesome is that! The legs on the original didn't look quite so human, so I decided to have them look human-ish, but not quite.

ozwalled Wild N Wooly Shambler
The Wild N Wooly Shambler. Wooliness, as it happens, is not really all that easy to draw.

ozwalled Electro Specter Emerges
Electro Specter emerging from a pile of liquid metal. The Electro Specter is another enemy that I'd not had a lot of interest in drawing for a good while. It wasn't until I was reading through the Player's Guide one day and read that it was "a lethal combination of energy and molten metal" that I was inspired to do this, one of my very favorite pieces of my EB art.

In my mind, I pictured a pool of liquid metal (a la Terminator 2) running uphill and morphing up into the Electro Specter, electricity arcing from it as it solidified. I also envisionned vein-like tunnels of the liquid rushing up, not unlike lava tubes. I feel that I'd captured all of that pretty successfully.

I also opted for axe-like and hammer-like "hands", to illustrate a "morphing" type ability.
